Previous Lines of Work: I worked in the medical field for 18 years prior to going into full time ministry. I’ve been involved in prison ministry for 17 years. I have currently on staff at His Praise Worship Center, which opened its doors in June 2012. I serve as the Co-Senior Pastor. It is a great honor to serve with all the wonderful women at Women of Worth!

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: That God is a God of complete restoration and forgiveness…that He takes great pleasure in taking the broken pieces of our lives and putting them back together. He redeems everything in our lives as we surrender to Him. He truly does give beauty for ashes and garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness. HE REDEEMS AND RESTORES!

My Hero: My husband and my children- My husband, he has the most amazing capacity to see where God is leading and the personal integrity to persevere in the face of obstacles. He loves me like no one else and has always believed God when I was weary. I’m grateful he thought I was worth pursuing! My children, because they are amazing adults and they love the Lord with all their hearts. They have made being a mother one of the most honored positions I have ever experienced

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: Many years ago when I had been through a devastating situation, I was so broken and I was allowing the Lord to restore my soul and heal my broken heart. I had not sang one single song, not one single phrase for an entire year…during a worship service at the church I was attending they were singing the song “I Could Sing of your Love Forever”, at that moment I heard the voice of the Lord as I was kneeling down on the floor… I heard the voice of the Lord say to me “Sing Kim, Sing Praises to Me” as I began to lift up my song to the Lord the presence of the Lord, touched me in a way I had never known. I knew at that moment how much I loved the Lord, but most importantly for the first time in my life I had a revelation of how much Jesus loved me! It was life changing for me. I knew at that moment I would never be the same. I caught a glimpse of how the Lord saw me that day and it was completely different from how I saw myself. It changed me forever!
